The Three Onenesses

God Is One. There is only one God. It doesn’t matter what name or language we use: Alláh in Arabic, Bóg in Polish, Dios in Spanish, God in English, Mungu in Swahili, Prá Jâo in Thai, Runga Rawa in Máori, Wakan Tanka in Sioux, Yahweh in Hebrew, and so on. Or we might say: our Creator, the First Cause, Higher Power, King of the Universe, Mother of All, Will of Heaven, or the like. Regardless, we are all the children of one God, we all call on the same one God, and the same one God hears and loves us all.

Las Tres Unicidades

Dios es Uno. Existe un solo Dios. No importa el nombre o idioma que usemos: Alláh en árabe, Bóg en polaco, Dios en español, God en inglés, Mungu en swahili, Prá Jâo en tai, Runga Rawa en maori, Wakan Tanka en siux, yahvé en hebreo, y así sucesivamente. O podemos decir: nuestro Creador, la Primera Causa, Poder Superior, Rey del Universo, Madre de Todos, Voluntad del Cielo, o algo parecido. The Foundational Verities

God exists, is our Creator, and loves His creation. He loves us so much, He even gives us the choice to not love Him back. Neverthe­less, all the religions of the world—and our own souls—tell us it is better for us if we feel and show love for our Creator and for His creation. Of course, God is for us an unknowable Essence. We can no more understand our Creator than a painting can understand the artist who painted it. Still, we can understand that, in His love for us, He has made and kept certain promises to us.

“O Son of Man! Veiled in My immemorial being and in the ancient eternity of My essence, I knew My love for thee; therefore I created thee, have engraved on thee Mine image and revealed to thee My beauty. / O Son of Man! I loved thy creation, hence I created thee. Wherefore, do thou love Me, that I may name thy name and fill thy soul with the spirit of life. / O Son of Being! Love Me, that I may love thee. Las Verdades Esenciales

Dios existe, es nuestro Creador y ama a Su creación. Él nos ama tanto, que hasta nos da la elección de no corresponder a Su amor. Sin embargo, todas las religiones del mundo—y nuestras propias almas—nos dicen que es mejor para nosotros si sentimos y mostramos amor hacia nuestro Creador y por Su creación. Por supuesto, Dios es para nosotros una Esencia incomprehen-sible. No es más posible para nosotros comprender nuestro Creador que lo que es para una pintura comprender al artista que la pintó.
